Appearance
Layer States
Different styling options are applied depending on how a user interacts with features.
Configurable states:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Default | Default appearance of features |
| Active | The style used while the user's mouse is hovered over the feature |
| Selected | The style used when a feature is contained within a selection set (Query, Free Text Search or select tools) |
| Navigation | The style used during navigation (pan or zoom). This is applicable for heavy data layers to improve performance during navigation. |
To configure layer states:
- In the sidebar, select the Layers tab
- Right click the layer and click Styles
- Select the radio buttons to display the Styles Editor for each respective state
