Filtered Datasets

A Filtered Dataset is a duplicate of an existing dataset with an SQL style query condition applied. This is useful when you only want to display a subset of data or want to apply security restrictions on the dataset.

To create a Filtered Dataset:

1. Select the dataset in Mapworks UI
2. Click Advanced
3. Click Create Filtered Dataset

4. Click Add Rule
5. Enter a query condition
6. Click Save & Return
