Invitations

Overview

The Invitations page in the Mgt Console displays invitations sent to or from your organisation. Invitations are used to share Maps and other entities with users in different organisations.

Users can view invitations they have sent or received, while Organisation Administrators can view all pending invitations within the organisation.

To access invitations:

1. In Mapworks UI, click Mgt Console in the bottom left

2. Click Invitations

Sending an invitation

Invitations are created using the Sharing Settings modal in Mapworks UI.

To send an invitation:

1. In Mapworks UI, choose a Map/Layer/Dataset/Connection
2. Click Sharing

3. Enter an email address into the search box

📄 Note

Invitations can be sent to new or existing users.

Pending invitations are also displayed with the sharing settings.

Receiving an invitation

Invitations can be accepted or rejected in the Mgt Console.

To respond to an invitation:

1. Click on an invitation

2. Click the buttons in the top right to Reject or Accept

Managing Invitations

Users can view pending invitations they have sent to check their status or withdraw them. Organisation Administrators can view the details of all pending invitations within the organisation and cancel them.

To cancel an invitation:

1. Click on an invitation

2. Click the Cancel button in the top right
